For me, Cal Poly was really a place where you could do the most with the opportunities provided to you.

POLS professors specialized in a wide range of topics, which allowed me to delve deeper into my interests and better pinpoint the career I wanted to pursue after undergrad. Their enthusiasm for their courses and willingness to engage with students allowed me to learn in a more meaningful way and actually enjoy the classes I attended. Overall, whether it was getting help on a project in office hours, making connections for an internship, or just having a friendly chat about what certain careers look like, the professors in the POLS department always seemed to go out of their way to ensure their students succeeded both in the classroom and in life after undergrad.
