ALUMNI ADVISORY BOARD WELCOMES MARY HARRIS AS INCOMING CHAIR

I’m looking forward to starting my term as chair of the Alumni Advisory Board and working with students, faculty, fellow board members and alumni on ways to enhance our students’ experiences while attending Cal Poly. I hope to increase the department’s profile here in the community of San Luis Obispo and work on building connections with alumni that will benefit the department. These are challenging times politically, but they also provide opportunities for us to be creative in finding ways to build community and understanding locally, nationally and internationally. I’m excited to work with the student leaders from Model United Nations, Mock Trial, the Political Science Club, the Undergraduate Law Association, and Paideia, and will welcome input from any alumni who’d like to re-connect with the department.
