Please join us for the end of the year celebration! The Political Science Spring Dinner is on Thursday, May 18th, 6:30pm at Ventana Grill in Pismo Beach.

Tickets are $25 (cash only please) and can be purchased in the Political Science Office in building 47, room 14 no later than Monday, May 8th by 3pm.

Cal Poly Mock Trial Team Advances Again!

Please Join us in Congratulating Cal Poly's Mock Trial Team!

Cal Poly's A Team finished in the top six in their opening round competition in Fresno March 25-26. This earned the team a bid to compete at the National Championship Tournament (NCT) in Los Angeles in April!

Cal Poly sent two teams to the American Mock Trial Association Regional Competition in Claremont, CA. Cal Poly's A Team earned a bid to the Opening Round Championship Series in Fresno, CA, March 25-26. The A Team will compete against the best teams in the region for a chance at the National Championship!

While the left fears an invasion of their citadel by conservatives marching to orders from the Koch brothers, the right steers young conservatives away from a professorial vocation by lampooning its leftism. In this talk, Jon Shields will discuss what has been described as the “first reliable study of academic conservatives.”
