Cal Poly Mock Trial teams receive accolades at AMTA tournament

Cal Poly Mock Trial sent two teams to compete at the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) regional tournament on February 1, 2020.

Cal Poly Mock Trial sent two teams to compete at the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) regional tournament on February 1, 2020. These tournaments are essentially “the playoffs” of the Mock Trial world. Cal Poly had one team earn a trophy and advance to the next round while our other team received an Honorable Mention. Individually, Jessica Smith (HIST) and Torri Creamer (POLS) took home two of the coveted “Outstanding Attorney” awards, while Becca Goren (SOC) was named the Top Witness of the entire tournament!
