Cal Poly Mock Trial is Heading to the "Playoffs"!!

After a successful showing at Regionals Cal Poly Mock Trial is Heading to ORCS!

Following up on their achievements at the Claremont Regional Tournament, Cal Poly Mock Trial achieved even more success at the Fresno State Tournament. Cal Poly sent two more teams to compete and both teams earned bids to advance to the next round of the Opening Round Championship Series (the “playoffs” of the national collegiate mock trial competition).

In addition to our team success, two of our team members received incredible individual awards. McKenzie Taffe (POLS) received an Outstanding Witness award, while Melissa Toussimehr (POLS) received her own Outstanding Witness award and an Outstanding Attorney award!

Cal Poly Mock Trial is now hard at work preparing for the next round of competition at Santa Monica, March 7-8, for a chance to compete for the national championship.
