About Pete Ford
Pete Zavaleta Ford is a new, full-time lecturer in the Political Science Department focusing on pre-law classes. Before joining Cal Poly, Pete was an environmental lawyer with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for 21 years, specializing in water pollution control law. Before law school, Pete was a New York City public school teacher and a Peace Corps volunteer in Panama. Pete has a bachelor's degree from Penn State, a master's degree from Columbia, and a law degree from Arizona State. Pete lives in San Luis Obispo with his wife and two sons.
