An Update on Mock Trial
After wrapping up tryouts at the beginning of this quarter, the Cal Poly Mock Trial program is the largest it has ever been in the program's history with over 70 members!
To kick off the start of this already historical season, Cal Poly traveled up to Stanford University's tournament to compete. There, the team went up against the University of Colorado, Pepperdine, and UC Santa Cruz, finishing with a 4-4 record. Additionally, two members came home with individual awards, Riya Parekh and Kyle Barba. Riya received a perfect 20-rank attorney award - one of only two at the tournament - and Kyle received a 17-rank witness award. We are so proud of the team and are looking forward to seeing how well the rest of the program does in our upcoming tournaments!
