Professor Zhang to Present Her Research of Political Discourse of the Chinese Communist Party this Saturday

Professor Zhang will be presenting her most recent research at the University Salon (formerly Harvard Salon) this Saturday.

In this presentation, Professor Zhang will draw on her research of political discourse of the Chinese Communist Party in the past century to examine and interpret the concept and practices of cultural governance in the Chinese political culture.  The talk will be discussed by Professor Wenfang Tang (Presidential Professor Chair, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Science, Hong Kong Chinese University (Shenzhen)) and hosted by Professor Yuhua Wang (Professor, Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University).  The University Salon was initially organized by a group of visiting scholars at Harvard from China to facilitate academic and cultural exchanges between China and the West.
